Well, Amazon are doing just that with Health AI, supported by One Medical and Amazon Pharmacy.
Once you give permission to Health AI to access your health information it will support you in understanding and managing your health related activities. It will use your medical records such as medical history, medications, lab results, and clinical notes as well as your Amazon pharmacy and Amazon purchase records to personalise its advice.
They are rolling it out for FREE to Amazon Prime members in the US, including Free One Medical direct messages for 30+ common conditions.
This is a great step in creating a supply chain that reaches from the patient to Amazon owned and backed services, leveraging those that are already Prime members.
One to watch. It might disrupt the existing PCP relationship.
