What people use Copilot for
The 2025 Copilot usage research is in. The team looked at 37.5 million unidentified conversations randomly sampled on a daily basis between January and September 2025.
Unsurprisingly, the patterns show Copilot is used as a productivity tool during the working day, then shifts to a conversational partner during the evenings and weekends.
Surprisingly, the report suggests, 'At least 10% of the adult population engage with AI on a weekly basis'.
